| Khavaran Public Library takes its
mission to enrich the life of every person in the community and to promote
literacy, lifelong learning, the love of reading and exploration of ideas,
culture and knowledge very seriously. In today's information age, it has become more and more apparent that the
ability to read and the ability to access reliable information is a
necessity in successfully navigating through our world. However, with
today's rising costs and decreasing budgets, the Library has found it
increasingly difficult to maintain and improve its standard of excellent
service the public needs and deserves.
By supporting your Library in its efforts to make information and
resources available to everyone, you are investing not only in the future of
your library, but also in the future of your community.
How to help and get involved
The Library, as a publicly owned institution, is for the use and
enjoyment of all citizens. Your support is greatly appreciated. Gifts of
books,
materials, or
money for the purchase of
books, materials, equipment or facility enhancement are
welcome.
The Generous Donators up to now:
Mr. Rasool Hamkar, He presented his personal library including
more that 300 books to the library as a donation in January 2003
Mr. Morteza Sabouri, He presented about 250 books to the library
in March 2003.
