Khavaran Public Library was founded in February 1994 as a part of Javan
Cultural Center (then Khavaran Cultural Center). Although the library
consisted of two reading hall and a small collection of book at the
beginning, it grew gradually to one of the largest public libraries in
Tehran.

| Khavaran Public Library takes its
mission to enrich the life of every person in the community and to promote
literacy, lifelong learning, the love of reading and exploration of ideas,
culture and knowledge very seriously. In today's information age, it has become more and more apparent that the
ability to read and the ability to access reliable information is a
necessity in successfully navigating through our world. However, with
today's rising costs and decreasing budgets, the Library has found it
increasingly difficult to maintain and improve its standard of excellent
service the public needs and deserves.
By supporting your Library in its efforts to make information and
resources available to everyone, you are investing not only in the future of
your library, but also in the future of your community.

The Library, as a publicly owned institution, is for the use and
